Hola a todo@s! Espero que estén teniendo una muy buena semana… yo he tenido unos días agotadores, pero no quería dejar de escribir este post!
Se trata del Método de la Doble Limpieza, o en inglés, el Double Cleansing Method. Como tanta cosa buena para la piel, viene de los coreanos y su expertise en todo lo relacionado al cuidado de la piel.
Como ya saben (o quizás no), soy una gran fan de la cosmética coreana (no toda, claro, pero hay muchos productos y “métodos” que son buenísimos, totalmente superiores a los de occidente). Por eso es que hace unos años, cuando me empecé a interesar en la cosmética coreana una de las primeras cosas que me llamó la atención fue este método.
Se trata básicamente de entender la limpieza de la piel de una forma mucho más acabada: por una parte va el paso de remover el maquillaje y protector solar y por el otro la limpieza de la piel en sí.
Estos dos pasos aseguran una limpieza profunda de la piel, lo que a la larga trae incontables beneficios, ya que los poros no se tapan.
PASO 1: EL DESMAQUILLADO
El primer paso de este método se trata de limpiarse con algo de base aceitosa. Tanto el maquillaje como el protector solar sólo se disuelven realmente en una base oleosa, por lo que un agua micelar o incluso un gel desmaquillante a base de agua no retirará absolutamente todas las partículas de maquillaje y spf.
Los de la foto son dos que recomiendo, uno es en formato aceite y otro bálsamo (que se derrite en aceite), y ambos son coreanos. Sé que ahora se está masificando en las compañías de cosmética occidental lo de los aceites limpiadores, tal como el famoso de The Body Shop, o el nuevo de Kiehls, el de Burt’s Bees o N°7.
La idea de estos limpiadores en aceite es que se aplican en rostro seco y al masajarlos “rompen” totalmente el maquillaje, y al agregarles un poquito de agua templada emulsionan y se convierten en leches limpiadoras, por lo que al enjuagarlos no dejan ningún rastro de oleosidad en la piel. Por su puesto que se pueden utilizar aceites naturales como el de coco, o almendras (perfecto para piel seca) o el de jojoba (excelente para piel grasa), pero siempre dejarán algún tipo de rastro (si usan de esos les recomiendo que los retiren con una toalla o franela humedecida).
Para mostrarles lo potentes que son estos tipos de limpiadores les demuestro cómo remueven todo el maquillaje, sin dejar rastro. Usé hasta delineador a prueba de agua que no sale con nada!
Como se aprecia, al masajear el bálsamo éste se convierte en un aceite y arrasa con todo. Y al agregarla algo de agua comienza a emulsionar.
Y como se ve al final, el limpiador se convirtió en una especie de leche, la cual se remueve con total facilidad. No dejando ni oleoso no restos de maquillaje.
Así hemos retirado todo el maquillaje y el protector solar (que es muy difícil de quitar. Es como una base de larga duración). Por lo que aunque uno no use maquillaje igualmente hay beneficios de hacer esta primera limpieza, por el protector solar (asumiendo que uno lo use todos los días, lo cual todos debemos hacer).
PASO 2: LIMPIEZA
El segundo paso consiste en limpiar la piel con un limpiador que se use con agua. Los coreanos para esto son fan de las espumas limpiadoras, pero la verdad es que a mi no me gusta usar cosas que tengan sulfatos para el rostro (con eso se lavan los platos y la ropa, la piel sufre si uno los usa en ella…). Por otro lado me gusta sentir la piel muy limpia, y para eso creo que encontré (para mi gusto claro) el ingrediente perfecto: la arcilla. Y el limpiador perfecto que la contiene: Angels on Bare Skin de Lush.
Este es el paso que limpia la piel en sí misma, que no solo “barre” lo sucio de la superficie. Es como cuando uno limpia el piso de la cocina: se barre primero, para quitar la suciedad superficial, y luego se le pasa un paño/trapero/como lo llamen con desinfectante. Tonta la analogía pero sirve. Creo.
Este paso limpia los poros y ayuda a que la piel esté impecable para recibir los tratamientos y cremas que queramos aplicar luego. Que no nos sirven de nada si la piel tiene suciedad y células muertas, ya que no penetran nada.
BENEFICIOS DEL MÉTODO DE LA DOBLE LIMPIEZA:
Básicamente asegura que nunca (o digamos más realistamente: rara vez), tengamos los poros tapados. Lo cual a su vez nos ahorra muchas cosas: espinillas, puntos negros, textura. Por su puesto que no es magia, así que a mi de vez en cuando sí me sale alguna espinilla (sobre todo hormonal), pero lo cierto es que la salud general de la piel se ve mejorada por mil. Y también porque si bien asegura una limpieza profunda de la piel no la deja reseca ni la maltrata. Aunque claro está en que depende de la elección de los productos que usen.
Yo personalmente lo llevo haciendo con constancia hace como un año, y antes de eso lo hacía algunas veces (aunque siempre me demaquillaba y limpiaba en dos pasos, pero no con una base oleosa primero, que hace toda la diferencia), y realmente ayuda muchísimo a tener una piel libre de imperfecciones.
Es por eso que se los recomiendo a todos, pero sobre todo a quienes tengan tendencia a crear imperfecciones en la piel.
Otro beneficio es que al estar super limpia la piel, uno nota cómo las cremas y serums hacen más efecto, por lo que despierto por las mañanas con la piel muy suave y muy bien hidratada.

Hola Jesu 😊 Muy buenas todas tus recomendaciones 👌🏼!! Pero tengo una consulta y ver si me puedes ayudar… El desmaquillante bifásico sirve como primer paso ? Mis mascaras de pestañas son siempre a prueba de agua y sufro cada vez que me desmaquillo porque siempre se me caen pestañas, entre 1 a 4 por cada vez que lo hago 😞 y eso que las trato de cuidar harto, por las noches estoy usando aceite de ricino. Bueno espero me puedas aconsejar algo.

Hola Jesu hace poco empece a ver tus recomendaciones y soy novata en esto del cuidado de piel te soy sincera nunca me importo tanto tengo una piel sana normal no hacia mayor cuidado de ella pero ya cumplí 25 años y mi piel empieza a cambiar y quisiera comenzar una rutina de cuidado de piel y no se nada!! no se si ya has echo algo relacionado a eso para leerlo o su me puedes orientar que es lo que tengo que hacer y en que orden aplicar Saludos ! 😀

Redpecto del agua micelar.. mira yo antes la usaba para desmaquillame y despues usaba un limpiador..o sea la usaba como paso 1. Pero ahora me he dado cuenta de que no es tan efectiva…como es usar un desmaquillate en base a aceite.. Siempre es mejor desmaquillarse, con lo que sea, antes que no hacerlo..pero yo no diría que el agua micelar remueva todo lo que debería. En todo caso, si quieres seguir usandola usala como paso 1 ó 2 .. pero siempre enjuágala..ya que tienen sulfatos y eso deshidrata mucho el rostro.

Mira yo creo que es mejor limpiar todo bien de una..pero tampoco creo que este mal si dejas un tiempo entre una cosa y otra.. No creo que haga la diferencia..a menos ppr ejemplo que uno renga la piel muy muy sensible y se irrite al contacto. Así podrias dejar un timpo para que la piel se asiente y no vaya a ponerse muy irritada. Pero sinceramente creo que esta ok de las dos formas.
