Hoy les haré una reseña sobre el Serum Capilar de Granada 100% Brillo de la marca chilena Majen.
Llevo utilizando más de 3 semanas, por lo que ya les puedo contar mi opinión al respecto.
Primero que todo, debo destacarles la marca en sí. Yo la descubrí a través de Instagram, hace bastantes meses, y me llamó mucho la atención que fueran una marca tan comprometida con el medioambiente. Muchas marcas tienen, lo que podríamos llamar, un ‘sello green’ respecto de sus ingredientes (lo cual me parece fantástico), pero me di cuenta que Majen va un saltó más lejos y también es ‘green’ respecto del impacto ambiental que tienen sus productos y su fabricación. De hecho hace unos días vi que eran la primera empresa chilena de cosmética en certificarse Carbono Neutral (lo que en palabras simples significa que la fabricación de sus productos no aumenta el CO2 del planeta!) por Green Ticket.cl. El lema de la marca es “Belleza Responsable”, lo cual me parece genial.
Sus usos y qué promete:
- En la caja dice que que puede utilizar como un aceite pre-lavado para el cuero cabelludo que actuará equilibrándolo,
- y para medios a puntas que actuará como una cura profunda de hidratación.
- Pero en la tienda donde lo compré me explicaron que también servía para aplicar un par de gotitas en las puntas de pelo sin enjuagar, para mantener la hidratación y darle mucho brillo.
Envase y presentación:
Viene en una botella de 30 ml de vidrio oscuro con gotero, lo cual no se si es lo que más me gusta. Me gustaría que tuviera alguna especie de dispensador estilo ‘pump’ ya que cada vez que lo abro me da miedo que se me caiga todo por estar apurada o algo así. (ACTUALIZACIÓN: cambiaron el empaque a uno con pump! Es perfecto!) Aunque sí me agrada que sea de vidrio y además oscuro, ya que es como mejor se preservan ingredientes.
Cuando uno lo compra viene en una cajita rosada muy bonita, en donde salen los ingredientes, modo de uso y fecha de caducidad. Es lindo que el frasco no tenga mucha información, pero es poco práctico, ya que por ejemplo la fecha de caducidad es algo super relevante de tener a mano (y en general uno bota las cajas).
Otro punto a favor es la bolsita donde viene. Tiene un diseño hermoso de animales, lo cual no es que sea muy relevante, pero a mi siempre me gana un buen empaque. Además que para regalo está perfecto.
Ingredientes:
Creo que el punto más relevante de este serum son sus ingredientes.
Contiene sólo 3 ingredientes y los 3 naturales: aceite de argán orgánico, extracto de granada y vitamina e. Son todos ingredientes que le aportaran real nutrición y humectación al cabello.
El aceite de argán contiene ácidos grasos insaturados como el omega 3 y el 9. Éstos proporcionan al cabello una hidratación constante y combaten en frizz y puntas partidas.
El aceite de granada, que se extrae de la prensión en frío de las semillas, tiene muchísimos beneficios para el cabello. Se desatacan: devolverle la lustrocidad y brillo, lo protege del medio ambiente, combate la caspa ya que es anticéptico, controla el frizz etc.
Y por ultimo la vitamina e es un poderoso humectante. Y yo creo que está utilizado aquí como preservante natural del producto.
Es libre de siliconas, parabenos, sulfatos, libre de aceite de palma y no testeado en animales.
PRECAUCIÓN: Dura 24 meses desde su elaboración (el mío lo compré en marzo del 2017 y dice que vence en enero del 2019). Pero se les pondrá rancio antes si lo dejan expuestos a la luz o el calor, ya que los aceites son sensibles a ello.
Dónde y Cuánto:
Tienen varias tiendas y una página online. Sé que hay un Valdivia (la marca es de allá), otra en Pucón y varias en Santiago. Yo lo compré en el Drugstore de Providencia, pero también hay en Los Domínicos y Barrio Italia. Su precio es de $12.000 CLP.
Mi opinión:
Les digo sin más que me en-can-tó!!
Me compré el serum porque estaba en busca de algo natural que me mantuviera el cabello hidratado entre lavado y lavado. Y que no fuera pesado ni aceitoso. Si leen mi Instagram
sabrán que me lo trato de lavar lo menos posible. Por lo que se me deshidrata bastante al paso de los días. Es por eso que mi review está enfocado en ese uso, y no en los otros dos que nos indica la marca.
Este serum es todo lo que esperaba… y algo más: el olor! es delicioso! huele dulce, pero no empalagoso, y algo afrutado. El olor perdura en el pelo pero no demasiado. Por lo que si nos les gusta el olor tampoco es algo que les debería influir para mal.
No es para nada grasoso ni pesado, les digo todo con que me lo aplico todos los días enfocándolo en las puntas (pero igual aplico más arriba el resto del producto que me queda en las manos), y no me deja para nada graso. Lo deja suave, brillante, con buen olor y totalmente humectado.
Uso unas tres gotas del aceite, que como en la foto de arriba se ve, no es para nada ‘grueso’, sino que es super ligero y tirando a una textura más acuosa.
En resumen. No he probado los otros usos aunque apostaría que funciona muy bien. Y si buscan algo como lo que yo buscaba, natural, sin siliconas ni químicos perjudicales, que mantenga el cabello lindo y suave y que realmente le aporte nutrientes y beneficios al cabello, se los recomiendo totalmente.
Sé que cuesta el doble o más que un serum del supermercado o de marcas tradicionales. Pero tengan en cuenta que está hecho de cosas que realmente le aportan nutrientes y vida al pelo. No sólo se los hará ver más lindo, sino que lo hará ser más lindo y saludable.

Yo encuentro que Instagram tiene la ventaja de la inmediatez, pero en un blog uno puede explayarse mucho más y hacer el espacio mucho más propio, personalizarlo y darle nuestro propio toque. Mira tú, yo siendo de esa zona (mi familia vive en Los Lagos, súper cerca de Valdivia) no cachabaque Majen tenía su propia tienda.
